Wood from most species is fragile. And as soon as wood is cut from trees, it becomes vulnerable to damage from everything from water and sunlight to insects, mould, fungi, decay and physical damage. Wood needs constant protection to keep it structurally strong and looking its best.

Yet very few people enjoy looking after their wood. It’s a real chore – a lot of hard, repetitive work. It’s also a category that consumers don’t shop frequently. All they want is to do the job well so they can forget about it for longer, and be free to enjoy their homes.

With this in mind, we developed a global campaign for AkzoNobel’s woodcare brands, which include Sadolin, Ceta Bever, Pinotex, Xyledecor and Cuprinol using the line ‘It’s all you need’ to communicate the need to protect wood in all weathers as well as the confidence and peace of mind that comes with using the brand leader.
